Meet Lizette Bethea, a senior at Mississippi College, working towards a career as an Art Professor & Community Studio Owner.
"My emphasis of study is in ceramics. I enjoy making both functional dinnerware & large pitchers. In making both things I seek to create a connection between the viewer & the artist through soothing surface, line quality, & hidden words in the clay. I also enjoy drawing the human figure as a way of tangibly communicating to others the depth of their impact on my life."

The Laurel Arts League is excited to celebrate the arts in different ways that will benefit the community in a safe manner.
