"My emphasis of study is in ceramics. I enjoy making both functional dinnerware & large pitchers. In making both things I seek to create a connection between the viewer & the artist through soothing surface, line quality, & hidden words in the clay. I also enjoy drawing the human figure as a way of tangibly communicating to others the depth of their impact on my life."
