Day in the Park is the Laurel Arts League’s largest annual event, which takes place the first Saturday each May in Mason Park. The day begins with a 5K race followed by a Fun Run. Throughout the day, patrons can enjoy live music, student and juried art competitions, delicious festival cuisine, children’s activities, and the works of skilled craftsmen from across the region.

Our Day of fun begins at 8am with the 5K and Fun run! Last year's theme of "MAY the FOURTH be with you" was a huge hit. Look for the 2020 race registration to go live in the February or March.
From 10am until 3pm every year, we host fun bands, local dance troupes, and talented school choirs! Bring your Lawn chair and come enjoy!
Artisans from all over our region have come to Day in the Park for years. Don't miss this chance to discover new art you'll love.
Students from Kindergarten to 12th grade exhibit their art in a large tent, at Day in the Park. Judged by local artists and art educators, the winners are given a small scholarship and ribbon.
Local civic organizations, churches and businesses provide fun opportunities for children to get hands-on with art and crafts throughout the day! Make sand art, get your face painted, and much more!
Every year a local arts designs our tshirt and they're for sale at Misty's in Laurel.
